IT Law
In IT law, we advise companies on planning and implementation of IT projects, in particular on cloud computing and IT outsourcing or on other provider and hosting agreements. Taking into account technical and economic factors of each project, we support our clients in negotiations, in disputes and, if necessary, in the termination of IT projects.
In addition to contract drafting and representation in connection with the creation, maintenance, use and protection of software and hardware, e.g. developing mobile apps or drafting support or service level agreements, we also advice our clients creating, safeguarding and exploiting digital assets such as protected digital content or data. This happens usually on the basis of non-disclosure and development agreements as well as corresponding licence or other usage agreements (incl. open source and open content licences). In doing so, we also keep an eye on labour and corporate law issues that arise, for example, when allocating creative achievements of the parties involved.
Another focus is on advising and reviewing online presences and advertising campaigns on the Internet, in particular e‑commerce, social media or Internet domains, which we support especially from the point of view of competition, trademark, copyright and data protection law.
